Darkness falls as the day does end
Good nights I do send
To all a peaceful sleep
Full of dreams but not to weep
Happy dreams of a new day
Where all in peace and do play
With no pain or sorrow
My happiness if need you can borrow
So goodnight I say to you my friends
As this day it does end
