Piercing Eyes

Piercing Eyes

Daggers piercing

Though they are not daggers

But your eyes that tear at me

Burning and searing

Is this your goal?

To make me feel less then human

To tear apart my very soul

I try to turn away but to no avail

No need for words I know what you say

Your piercing eyes never fail

Writing Prompt Friday (Stringed Lights)

String of Lights

Oh how I look upon the summer nights

Stars they seem like a string of lights

To light the night and twinkle high above

lighting the dance floor my love

For as we embrace and sway as one

The lights most beautiful peer through

Staying lit till we are done

These stars they are so true

A string of lights for just me and you

Just a few pictures from ‘House on the Rock’

I usually don’t do this anymore, but a couple weeks back we went on a trip to a place called ‘House on the Rock’ between Dodgeville and Spring Green, Wisconsin. I thought I would share a couple photos with you. It is really a unique place that was built pretty much by hand.

This was a huge chandelier made up of a bunch of smaller chandeliers.

There is a Japanese garden outside the house…very beautiful.

This is a flower I took a picture of in said Japanese garden.

A water wheel outside the house…very pretty and near the garden.

A Ferris wheel all lit up.

The infinity Room..

These are all over the grounds around the house outside….so cool.

Like I said if you

To Write Beautiful Words

To Write Beautiful Words

Fill your soul with happiness you deserve

To brighten every day

Make your heart feel warm

With these words I say

With these words I say

Confessing undying love

Forever faithfulness true

Forever I love you

Forever I love you

With every beat of my heart

With every touch of my hand

As time slips away like sand

As time slips away like sand

I will be yours

Forever my words heard

To write beautiful words

Day does End

Day does End

Darkness falls as the day does end

Good nights I do send

To all a peaceful sleep

Full of dreams but not to weep

Happy dreams of a new day

Where all in peace and do play

With no pain or sorrow

My happiness if need you can borrow

So goodnight I say to you my friends

As this day it does end

Mother Nature

Mother Nature

Whipping trees slapping and whipping

Wind blowing free leaves free

Storms are coming strong and furious

Though storms they are curious

Such beauty with lighting flashing

Thunder like a whip cracking

Rain falling down hard in buckets it seems

Creating puddles with flowing streams

Beauty of nature with a dark side

In the basement sometimes must hide

Nature is one we can’t control

For man is human and Mother Nature is all

Erotic Wednesday (Nothing Said)

Nothing Said

Pleasure like waves crash

With the very touch

Every kiss upon skin

Moans escape with a rush

Taking me in with the gentlest lips

Head falling back

eyes shut

Senses reel, control I lack

Knees get weak with just your silent words

Nothing said but what is done

Doing it all; asking nothing in return

Hips start to churn

Body does tremble reaching the point

Taking it all in you smile

Only to give is what you desire

Smile does light the fire

Love Poem Tuesday (Special Place)

Another love poem on a Wednesday.

Our Special Place

Locked in a loving embrace

No one matters at this moment

In this our place

Faded away from all the worlds torment

The worlds torments

Always trying to bring us down

Not in these our moments

The world won’t make us drown

Not to drown kept ahead above

With you my dear

And all our love

Our love is truly clear

Love truly clear for all to see

Together in our special place

This place just you and me

In this moment face to face

Word of the Day Monday (Abject)

The word of the day is abject.

Abject (adjective, AB-jekt)- sunk to or existing in a low state or condition : very bad or severe. cast down in spirit : servilespiritless. showing hopelessness or resignation. expressing or offered in a humble and often ingratiating spirit.

Examples of use:

The youth offered an abject apology for his misdeed.

“We tend not to dwell on the provenance of cheap gizmos. Periodically, we’re moved to outrage, even boycott, by revelations of the abject conditions in which certain items are produced; then we move on.” — Stephen Phillips, Datebook (The San Francisco Chronicle), 26 Jan. 2021

Words to Deceive

The man he speaks

With all the lies he reeks

Abject truths spew from his mouth

No sincerity can be found

Look deep within those words

For the masses and herds

Many believe what is said

These words they are fed

Keep spooning it in and all will believe

These words he uses to decieve
