Fade to Fall

Summer fades to Fall, days get shorter, nights get longer. 

Cool air comes in from north, chilly but refreshing upon our skin, sip hot apple cider, warming our bodies with faint a scent of cinnamon to warm our souls.

Leaves fall around us we embrace. Watching them tumble and twirl to the ground with nary a sound. 

The scene feels comforting and warm as an old friend returns, as summer fades to Fall.
