Can’t Take

Cant Take

Polished lives on which we feed, perfection, sometimes filled with greed.

lose sight of what means the most, family, health, love all seem a ghost. Lost in the shadows, swept away until that ending fateful day.

Possessions we can’t take when we go, in the earth far below.

  1. I agree Chris. I worked as Pharmacy overnight manager. The two pharmacies can’t retire. The own 2 million houses. Must paid taxes yearly and no-one will buy in the slow market. I own a paid-off trailer, no taxes. I can’t fall and I won’t fall too far. Outstanding poetry.
